Hello everyone, Catherine here today to share a quick and simply stunning card I made using this pretty dress as inspiration. I knew when I saw this dress that the design inspiration would be perfect for a black and white card.

I only needed a few basic supplies: black and white cardstock, a watermark ink pad, linen white embossing powder, my Blossoms in Bloom Stamp set from Art Gone Wild!, white gesso, gold and pink acrylic paint and a simple sentiment stamp from Momenta.
It was super easy to make, first I stamped a random floral pattern on black cardstock and used linen white embossing powder to create the heat-embossed design. Then I used a small dab of watered down white gesso to paint the flowers. I made sure to water the gesso down just enough to let bits of the black cardstock show through. To finish the background paper, I added a little watered down pink paint to the center of each flower and splattered gold paint randomly to jazz things up a little.
I finished my pretty card with a simple sentiment stamped on white cardstock and framed with the Blossoms in Bloom and a ribbon!
Thanks for joining me today to see how I was inspired by a gorgeous dress to create this simple card.
