Happy Holidays from Gaylynn! Today, I am sharing a last-minute Christmas project. For holiday parties, this is an easy way to dress up a wine bottle hostess gift.
This wine bottle tag was stamped on watercolor paper and die cut. Then, I used Distress markers with a waterbrush to watercolor the poinsettias and to add a bright background.
I chose watercolor, but any coloring medium would work. Another idea is to stamp and emboss an outline image without coloring.
To finish the tag, I added a stamped sentiment panel and sparkling sequins.
Here is another look at the wine bottle tag.
TIP: To make a wine bottle tag panel without die cuts, trim cardstock to approximately 3 x 8 inches. Score one end at 3 inches. Punch a circle on the scored end. Using patterned paper is a quicker way to get a background pattern.
Happy Holidays to you and yours.
Supplies: Poinsettia With Love stamp kit by Unity Stamp Co.; Distress markers (festive berries, peacock feathers, squeezed lemonade) from Ranger Industries Inc.; sequins from Pretty Pink Posh sequins; wine bottle tag #2 die from Papertrey Ink.
