Christmas Spectacular: Diana’s Christmas Envelope Treat Bags
Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Hi everyone! It’s Diana with a quick idea for making Christmas goodie packaging using envelopes.

These little bags are perfect for small treats like cookies, candies, and gift cards.

To create the treat bag, start by selecting your envelope. Any size or color will work.

  • RSVP envelopes (3 5/8 x 5 1/8-inch … also known as A1 or 4-bar size) work well for gift cards.
  • A2 envelopes (4 3/8 x 5 3/4-inch) and larger are perfect for candies or cookies.

Seal the envelope and then cut off one of the ends. You can use decorative scissors or an edge die for this step.

That’s all there is to creating the treat bag. The only thing left to do is decorate!

I used stamps, embossing, cardstock and pieces of glitter ribbon to embellish my treat bags.

I slipped a gift card into a 3 x 5-inch cello bag and added an embossed tag before placing it in the treat bag.

A bit of tulle tucked in with some candy adds a festive touch to this treat bag.

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you are inspired to create your own Christmas packaging.
