Hello! Heather P. here today with a project I created using the “Celebrate & Decorate” theme. It’s hard to believe that our 6-month term is coming to an end and that this will be my last post for the CardMaker blog. Time sure flies! 🙂
Lately, I have been drawn to black-and-white designs with a pop of color. When I was planning out my project, I just knew that I wanted my gift packaging to reflect that color scheme.
To create my packaging, I first started with a strip of white cardstock, and repeat stamped it with a thin stripe image in black ink. Once the strip of cardstock was completely stamped, I adhered it to a small gift that had been wrapped with white paper. Next, I die-cut a tag from white cardstock and stamped it with a sentiment using black ink.
I then stamped various floral and leaf elements using gray, black and iced aqua ink, and cut them out using coordinating dies. I then die-cut two outline leaf images from iced aqua cardstock. The flowers and leaves were arranged around the tag and adhered using liquid glue. To finish up, I wrapped the package with teal twine and secured the tag with a bow.
Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you have an awesome day!
