Hello friends! With Easter just around the corner, I dressed up some basic kraft bags and transformed them into spring animal gift bags.
I picked up the bags from a chain craft store. They measure 4 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches not including the handles. I used basic cardstock along with animal card dies from Paper Smooches to create the animals. A list of supplies that I used is at the bottom of this post.
I created the Bunny Bag by die-cutting a panel of white cardstock with the Bunny Card die. I made the face using some of the dies included in the set. I kept this bag pretty simple, but it could be embellished further by adding bows to the ears or even a little bow tie.
The Lamb Bag was created with the Cat Dog Card dies. I created the nose by trimming out a triangle shape included in the set. The poof at the top of the lamb?s head is a scalloped oval die cut.
For the Chick Bag, I die-cut yellow cardstock with the Cat Dog Card dies and trimmed off the ears to make a rounded shape for the chick?s head. The egg shell was created by die-cutting white cardstock with a pinking edge die. I dressed up the egg shell by adding a bow tie.
I love how these bags turned out and I can?t wait to fill them with goodies and give them to my nieces and nephews! Hope you are inspired to dress up and transform your basic gift bags for the next holiday you celebrate!
Thanks for stopping by!
