Melissa’s Celebrate & Decorate

Good morning, CardMaker friends and happy Friday to you! Melissa here with you today to share a set of sweet and colorful birthday tags that would be the perfect finishing touch for a special gift. I love creating a bunch of tags ahead of time and storing them for future use. They come in handy when I have a plain, boring gift bag or box and want to add a little something extra to make my gift POP! Birthday gifts should be bright and cheery, so I chose lots of happy colors. I used a variety of products to create my tags and will list all of them at the end of my post.

The white tags I created myself awhile back and used my Silhouette Cameo to cut them out. Using the Papillon stamp and die set, I die-cut the butterfly and then stamped the center with one of the images from the coordinating stamp set. I then die-cut more butterflies and trimmed just the center body out of each one and attached those over the first set of butterflies. The antennae were die-cut using the Butterfly Card dies.

I stamped ?Happy Birthday? on colorful strips of cardstock and attached them to the bottom portion of each tag.

Of course, this card needed a bit more color and sparkle so I added sequins to the tags. Lastly, I added white twine.

I hope you enjoyed my sweet butterfly tags. Wishing you a happy day!

Melissa
