Good day! It’s my turn to share my craft room, my studio … my room! As each child has left the nest, I?ve taken over their room, whether it be a closet, a dresser or in this case, the entire room!! Here?s a peek at where my creative juices flow. I have a nice south-facing room with a view of the farmer?s field across the road where I often see deer, coyotes and the occasional fox!

Here is my table where I do my creating. It doesn?t always look this clean! I did that just for you! Within easy reach are my coloring tools, inks, scoring tools, embossing powders, heat tool, etc.

This is my embossing/die-cutting and paper-cutting station.

I’ve mentioned before how I love to go thrift shopping. I also enjoy “curb side pick-up” once in a while. This hutch topper was being discarded and was left on the curb, so I had to give it a new home! I added some stamping to it to spruce it up a bit, set it on top of an office desk and it became my paper stash/stamp cubby/cherished cards from friends/peacock feather holder! I think I have a paper addiction! I also have my pasta roller attached for clay work.

Older homes weren?t made with a closet in every room so it’s lucky for me this one has one! I can store my punches in a shoe holder and stash all kinds of extra supplies on the shelves I added. Behind the door, another bookshelf holds a myriad of supplies—can we ever have enough?!? Next to that is my photo station with OTT lights.

This area was also taken over after the kids left; it was their toy storage complete with stickers!

There you have it. You?ll probably never see it that clean again!

Thanks for stopping by!

I love your room. You have managed to keep everything within reach (perhaps sometimes a long reach). For me, I have noticed that when things are out of sight they are forgotten and don’t get the love they deserve. I also love the fact that I am not the only one with lots of ‘stuff’. I guess the difference is, this is your work supplies and mine is an addiction. Thanks for sharing.

We never have enough, do we! You go girl, enjoy every inch as you make your awesome creations! I still have a stamped scarf you sent me years ago and I think of you when I dust around it. It is tied to a bear my DH sent me with flowers shortly before he died so I see it every day! Hugz!

  7. Dawn, I spy your great k-cup holder idea for your embossing powders on one of your shelves. I’ll be borrowing this idea!

  8. Love your room! I am in the process of taking over my daughter’s room then our homeschool room for my last child that we decided to homeschool with only two years left it is now MY craft room!! He moved everything for me. Homeschool is moved downstairs in the laundry room (we don’t need much space now)
