Cut a 5 x 5 1/2-inch piece of autumn squares paper and sand edges. Cut a 1 1/2 x 5 1/2-inch piece of brown paper. Sand edges and adhere vertically along left side of autumn squares piece. |

Cut a 5 1/2-inch strip of wavy trim. Sand edges and adhere in center of brown strip. |

Adhere "Autumn is..." saying to right side of autumn squares piece. |

Cut a 5 1/2 x 6-inch piece of green paper. Sand and ink edges. Adhere autumn squares piece to front leaving a 1/4-inch border all around. |

Cut an 8-inch square piece of golden leaf paper. Ink edges and adhere matted saying piece to front center right. |

Cut an 8-inch long strip of wavy trim. Sand and ink edges and adhere vertically along left side of golden leaf piece. |

Cut two 9-inch squares of green card stock; set one aside. Ink edges, and adhere entire matted piece to front of one card stock square leaving a 1/2-inch border all around. |

Cut a 22-inch long piece of ribbon. Tape one end to back left side of card-stock mat. Knot in center and tape other end to far right corner of card stock. |

Machine-stitch twice around saying in a wavy pattern. Cut threads and stitch around edge of green mat, edge of golden leaf mat and outside edge of card stock mat to secure ribbon. |

Adhere buttons to upper right and lower left corners of saying. |

Ink edges of velvet leaves, twist stems and adhere one to upper left corner and two to lower right corner. |

Adhere remaining 9-inch square of green card stock to back of wall hanging to cover stitches and ribbon ends. |
