Your challenge for the week is to decorate a candle using any method or materials you would like.  You can use stamps, paper, flowers; whatever your heart desires!  I know a couple of you even make candles, so feel free to show us a hand made candle too.

I've used the tissue paper method by stamping on tissue paper and using a heat gun to adhere the tissue to candle, (see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=elMYIBxLNgc for details) but you are not obligated to use this method.

You have till Sunday, January 29th at midnight post your entry to be eligible for a small (but lovely) prize.  All participants will be entered in a random drawing and winner will be posted on January 30th.  I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Elaine! I Love it!!! I've seen this tissue paper method...looks cool but I haven't tried it.  The last time my niece was here, we decorated some candles. I'll post those!

Great challenge, thank you!!

I was going to do this for a Christmas gift for someone, but didn't get it done. I still have the candle I was going to use so I hope I can fit it in. I'd like to make one for my mom's birthday.

Elaine, you candle is beautiful.

Your candle is gorgeous, Elaine. I hope I can get to this one. Our household has been battling a stomach virus.
