Yea - I finally get to host my first challenge! This week I am doing a recipe challenge, but I'm doing things a little bit differently than other recipe challenges you may have seen. Instead of telling you what to use, I'm going to let you choose - sort of.

Below my sample card you will find my card recipe. Please choose at least 3 ingredients from my recipe, then add some of your own ingredients to make a creation that's totally you. Please tell us which ingredients you used in your creation.

The ingredients you choose from my recipe do not have to be exactly like mine. For example, if you choose to use punches, you can use any shape you like. You don't have to use a butterfly punch as I did. Another example - you can use beads anyway you like. You don't have to make a stick pin out of them. Also, you can choose more than 3 of my ingredients, but please use at least 3. Finally, you can make any project you like. You do not have to make a card.

At the end of the challenge I will draw a name to receive a small prize from me.

I can't wait to see what you create. Have fun!!

Here is my recipe:
Colors: black, white, pink, neutrals + one color
Papers: cardstock
Stamps: collage, leaf, bird, music, butterfly, flowers, nature theme
Color Mediums: black ink
Embellishments: ribbon, twine (cord, yarn, etc. can also be used. My button is tied with crochet cotton), thread, buttons, beads, pearls, rhinestones, stick pin
Techniques: embossing (it’s hard to see, but the black background square is embossed), collage, inchies, stitching (can use real or faux for challenge)
Tools: die cuts, punches, embossing folders or texture plates
Themes: nature, birds, butterflies, flowers, music, leaves
Sketch: You can use my layout as one of your chosen ingredients

2. Laura
3. Terrie

5. Nancy

Judy, Judy, Judy. I adore this card. Talk about a few of my favorite things. Great color combo and, of course, I LOVE your images. The stitching in peach is stunning. Thanks for a terrific challenge.
