Rosemary’s Outside the Box
Print Friendly

Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing my take on Kimberly Crawford’s pretty thank you card found on page 44 in the May 2012 issue of CardMaker. I love the simple classic layout that she used for the card.

PH1

For my card I switched things up a bit by using a rickrack die instead of a chevron die and I changed the butterfly to a flower that is paper-pieced. Kimberly’s card had a bit of a shabby feel to it with lightly distressed edges so I decided to keep my card very clean and crisp. My final change was to use a birthday sentiment instead of a thank you sentiment.

PH2

I hope you enjoy my interpretation of Kimberly’s card.
