Shaped cards are always a favorite of mine to make, and using dies makes them that much quicker, not to mention gives a card an extra professional touch. Today, my card was inspired by the shaped card that AJ Otto made for the Summer 2013 issue of CardMaker (page 20) shown below.
Her design was a birthday card that was part of a gift set. I took the basic sketch she used, changed up the dies a bit along with product, and transformed it into a Christmas card.
Supplies used: Peace Joy Love Gloria and Holly patterned papers, circle dies and scalloped circle dies from Lawn Fawn; Poster Board Christmas stamp set and grass green ink pad from Gina K. Designs; 3D adhesive foam squares and E-Z Runner from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L®.
