Kimberly’s Technique of the Week: Creating Your Own Foam Stamps

Hi! Kimberly here with a great technique that lets you make your own customized stamps using Fun Foam and Spellbinders™ die templates!

Start by die-cutting a piece of basic Fun Foam with a die template.

Place a piece of double-sided tape onto an acrylic block. Apply the foam to it and you now have a custom stamp!

Apply ink to the foam and stamp. The normal amount of pressure is all that is needed.

Stamp the image again before re-inking and create a shadow effect.

Tips:

  • Emboss the foam with embossing folders for even more details.
  • Die-cut letters for custom sentiments.
  • Die-cut frames from the foam by nesting two die templates together.
  • Dye and pigment inks both work with the foam.

Imagine all the stamps you can create! Go grab some die templates and have a blast!

Thanks for stopping by!

~Kimberly
