Tell us a little bit about yourself and how you got started creating cards:
Hello everyone (waving wildly)! I have always been creative and I am always up to some kind of DIY project. I started making cards after completing a couple of scrapbooks of mission trips I had taken. I have always enjoyed cards and sending them, so I started making my own. Sending a card of encouragement to someone is my favorite part! I also give a lot of unused cards to organizations for them to use and send. I have had the honor of being on several design teams and card challenge teams and have met some amazing ladies. I love a good challenge to get those creative juices flowing!
Here are a few of Teresa’s favorite cards she’s created:
I adore the simplicity of this card and the loose coloring.
This is a 4 bar-sized card (3 1/2 x 4 7/8-inch). This size is so sweet. The paste embossing adds texture, while the felt flower and the color combo make this card a cutie.
The watercolored flowers are so sweet. I love the clean and simple design.
I am a huge fan of texture and details. This card has it all—watercolor, texture, layers, shimmer and embellishments.
My favorite junk food is donuts.
If I could take a vacation anywhere, I would go to Magnolia Market in Waco, Texas, and travel Highway 1 in California with the hubs on our motorcycle.
The one word that best describes me is loyal and trustworthy.
My favorite movie/television show is Investigative Discovery channel.
I’d love to learn how to write calligraphy and creative writing.
I’m never without my pen. I still like writing notes and keeping track of things on pen and paper.
