I was immediately drawn to the colors, tropical leaves, and of course, that darling bird. I turned to my Avery Elle supplies and pulled out a couple new items along with an older set to create my take on the inspiration piece.
First, I die-cut the striped panel from a darker coral cardstock and adhered it to a lighter coral note card. I also die-cut the striped panel using white cardstock and retained the circle as the backdrop for my scene. I stamped, die-cut and colored elements from the Tropics and Tweet Tweet stamp sets.
Once I figured out placement, I stamped the sentiment with black ink and adhered the bird and foliage. A few clear sequins provide the finishing touch.
I love how easily this card came together with just a little nudge of inspiration. Hope it inspires you to go and create something tropical!
