Stephanie’s Note of Thanks

Hello my dears! Stephanie Gold here with a fun card that mixes a few patterns to create a ton of interest on a simple card.

If you follow along with my blog, you may have noticed that I have been a bit obsessed with this background stamp from Unity Stamp Co. recently. It’s called Open Bloom and I seem to be using it on everything—ha! I wanted to make it front and center for this card so I stamped it onto a tag and placed my sentiment right on top of it.

The bottom panel was die-cut with the Stitched Cover Plate from Papertrey Ink. This is one of my favorite cover plates because it adds a subtle texture that compliments almost any type of card. It’s a big “go-to” in my stash. The color of the panel is a matching blue to the ink I used in the background stamp—another way to keep things simple.

I wanted to make the sentiment stand out a bit so I die-cut the “note” with a bright color pop of pink. Then I used a thin strip of white cardstock for the rest of my sentiment to ensure it was easily legible on top of the background pattern.

Are you a big fan of mixing and matching patterns on cards? What are you favorite “go-to” products that add subtle texture?

Thank you so much for stopping by! Wishing you all a wonderful week. Much love!

Xo, Stephanie
